So in order to enable each other the two fruits have to look each other in da eye and understand we can only be right, as da ripe is wrong, you know what I mean?"

Lol true I'd say setting characters to spots on the map and patching all that stuff up IS basic. Ha but try loading a different map on pretty much ANY scene of the game, bring a new character into the scene and even calling subroutines. I'd say that's when things get advanced lolz. I covered how to do that in Part 4 which'll hopefully be uploaded around 2 today.
But yeah I'd say if anyone wants anything advanced, keep looking back at my written tut. This next update will be today .
UPDATE: My apologizes guys but the update won't be today and probably not tomorrow My uncle died so I'm really busy up north. I'll try to get to it when I can
Ha and I don't blame you FEOK, these videos are gonna be a pain, but if you or anyone feels they want something "somewhat" advanced, go and look at Part 4 once it's uploaded

I would call this thread basic & intermediate event editing, since in your first video you cover the first example of your tutorial (changing a background to Doma Castle).
But your work is awesome man, keep it up :p

Say xJCSx, you know that some characters, when entering a battle, have custom animations...like Mog (he dances when the battle starts) or Relm (she moves her fingers in a "no-no" way before the battle starts)? Any idea on where the code for this may be so I can add custom actions for characters before battle?

Ah I looked through a good bit of assemblies and the such but couldn't come up with anything.
I then turned to Lenophis and he said it'd be in the D0 or D1 banks.
I scanned some sites for such a document but I don't believe there is one concerning that.
From what Leno said, it's just a bank loaded with the animations.
So what I guess I'd suggest is perhaps look around for some commands you may recognize in Assembly, LDA, JSL, etc. all within the D0 and D1 banks.
If you can identify and know what a certain command is, then that's the first step to really finding things. I really only know 3 Assembly codes so yeah, you're beating me in that department lolz.
But man I have faith in you, you're a fast learner ha I looked at your posts at Slick Productions so yeah dude I'll keep looking around for it and I'll tell you if I can come up with anything.
--Oh and something I was dying to know - dude I looked at your Youtube account and saw how you made that Iseria Queen literally SPEAK whenever you fight her!
Dude, HOW did you do that? Lol it'd be awesome, i totally wanna go Valkyrie Profile on this game! xD --

I have recently learned how to use the commands JSR, RTS, JSL, RTL so we are kind of at an equal point. But sometime I'll take a look around the D banks. Thanks, you're a real help. And thanks for the compliments, I try to give my hard in what little time I have left for hack
About the Iseria Queen Battle, I found one single voice clip containing all voice samples of Iseria in a friend's youtube page and I had to separate each one of them and synchronize them to how the battle developed on the video. But I used Camtasia Studio 7 for this, I'm not aware of how to import voice clips nor how to play them on the game.
I also used Camtasia to rip the Iseria battle theme on fast speed and the "CHING!" sound effect that you can hear just when she summons the angelish-vampire alter ego of hers. If you want any of these I can provide them to you :p
I'd like to make a remake of this battle using custom music and use another background, among other things.I would like to ask MQ or Nattak for them to compose Iseria's theme for FF6, but not sure if they may be willing to do it.
I also want to see if it is possible at all to have Iseria use the Fenrir esper on battle, it hasn't worked for me.

Ha I gotcha man, I just wish I knew where to start looking in the D banks, I mean there's no document for it and I've only found one JSR command in there so yeah that's a little tough.
And who knows, it could be compressed, they only had so much space on a ROM back then lolz.
Concerning the Iseria battle, ha I gotcha man, I was thinking you did that in game and whenever someone fought her, she'd literally speak in ZSNES. The only possibility I could think that would allow someone to do that would be to record your voice and convert it as a BRR and then delete FF6's instruments to replace them with your voice's BRR's.
Oh..
Lolz jk that'd be nigh impossible ha but hey it'd be sweet.
And yeah some Iseria music would be awesome, I'm fixing to look in to custom music, i play two musical instruments and can read just about any format of music so if I have a feel for this, I'll tell you and try looking into an Iseria Battle theme.
Ha if I could get a request for a song, it'd definitely be Rydia's theme!
You gotta hear it if u haven't:
http://ffmusic.ffshrine.org/ff4midis/ff4-midis.php
Scroll down to Rydia's theme, sorry the original MIDI link to the song wouldn't work :/
Pretty nostalgic sounding to me though
Well I think I've made my reply overly long :p
