Stray Flash Patch
Stray Flash v1.0
Author: The FF6Hacking Community
Download (SNES)
Download (GBA)
readme (GBA)
Description: April 2, 1994... that is the year that FF6 came out... it took until now (28 years later) to finally notice a mistake with the Flash Tool animation, being that the actual tool graphic is not placed accurately in Edgars' sprite when he goes to use it. With this fix, the Flash tool will now be exactly where it should be! The game is finally now playable.

I never noticed this graphical bug before... I'm debating about applying it to my hack or not, because although it's obviously a bug - my eyes are used to seeing it a certain way for the last 28 years. Lol.

Hello. I'm glad to see a fix for this... though I never noticed the error before. :3
One concern though: The before and after notes imply only one byte was changed in this patch. But the patch actually changes three bytes. Was this intentional?

...No, it definitely wasn't intentional... Thankfully it didn't cause anything detrimental or even noticeable. I seriously have no idea how that could've happened, but I'm never going to hear the end of this one lol! It's been fixed and reuploaded. Leave it up to me to screw up a 1-byte patch. Thanks for the heads-up. I'll uh, I'll just be going now.
To anyone that used the patch previously, you'll wanna change back:
10783C: 40>20
107845: 44>00

I have never noticed this before, and Flash is my most-used Tool.
Projects:
FFVI: Divergent Paths (Completed) - a complete storyline and gameplay hack of FF6 that adds Leo as a playable character

What? I always thought the Flash Tool was like a flashlight Edgar was holding I never knew he was holding it incorrectly. My hats off to the person that found that thing.
