nice

"Sometimes ninjas do wrong to each other, and in dat way the force of tha earf' comes around da moon - and at that presence, da dirt, it overshadows the grass, so you're like, I can't cut dis grass, there's no sun comin' through. So in order to enable each other the two fruits have to look each other in da eye and understand we can only be right, as da ripe is wrong, you know what I mean?"

I can see that there are some inconsistencies when it comes to the peach thing (a pack perhaps?) on his leg, it ends with a black pixel a pixel about the high part of the boot, whereas in the front facing sprite it ends at the low section of the boot.

The hair palette could do with a bit of separation, i.e, the darkest gray could be a bit darker, then you could change the other colours of the hair palette too?
And how many colours are you using for the hair atm?

Last thing, the shading on the ponytail on the side view should be flipped upside down.
Hope this helps in someway.

Man, I'm jealous, I never got such specific correction suggestions on any of my sprites.

Well, it would seem only a few of us actually give such specific and extraneous detail on what could be improved, while there are still (as there always are) those who simply say, "Hey thats pretty good!" without any actual critique.

But hey that is just some people's style, some give tips and suggestions to improve others merely say how good it is, to each his own, I say.

When you do any sort of art, pixel or paper art, you need to step outside the mindset of an artist and step into the shoes of a viewer. 'Sometimes simple is good enough' is what I mean. If you over analyze something as simple as a pixel, you may end up making it look worse than it is. One pixel that needs changing on a sprite may not matter when it comes down to the actual size of the sprite that is presented in the game.

You should show him what pixel exactly needs changing. Tongue
I assume you mean the hand bag leaning on his butt. Elaborate on what you mean in your own version of the sprite.

Thanks for the advice Zeemis but you don't seem to realize that I had already done as you said, I "stepped into the shoes of the viewer" and as a "viewer" the pouch just plain doesn't make sense in how it goes down to one point in side sprites and then goes even further down on the front facing sprite. As a "viewer" it looks weird. So here is a suggestion on what to do with it (even though I was sure I made it more than clear in my earlier post)

I got tired of getting rid of the background so excuse the half trans-half white background.
