HP/MP

Do they actually mean anything, or are they just for fun?

For now, just for fun. Maybe I can find something useful to do with them in the near future.

Hmm...I remember this one site (it's nolonger using it) that had this one thing where you had different classes and such and you leveled up by fighting in a colliseum...granted I highly doubt that you'd be able to use it but it's something to think about, no?
