FFVI: Divergent Paths

On the topic of no X in Fight: what about building a patch for no X in Magic? That incongruity always stuck out like a sore thumb to me. X-magic also prevents access to the 'esper invoke' menu during battle. I'm not a 'rules cop' for consistency but FF6 is one of my 'comfort food' games. I must have played it a thousand times - start to finish - since its release.
So how about it? A patch for no X in Magic that not only removes the X but also retains the basic magic menu functionalities of the in combat magic list, such as invoking an esper during battle, etc.?
As a side topic: Madsiur built a patch that assigns a percentage ratio to the Offering relic called Random Offering (https://www.romhacking.net/hacks/2865/). 75% two attacks, 50% three attacks, 25% four attacks. It uses ASM I believe...but it's still SUPER STAND-ALONE; as far as could get it to work, that is.
Oh yeah, Lenophis also built a similar rebalancing patch (IPS file format) for that relic called Offering Tweak (https://www.romhacking.net/hacks/252/) which removes the 'can't be dodged' attribute from Offering/Master Scrolls. Making it permissible to keep the native weapon effect (i.e. status effect, etc.) and hit-rate of the equipped weapon operable while X-Fight is being utilized. Working together, these two patches should rebalance the Offering relic with minimal effort...now if I could get them to play nice with each other...
