Final Fantasy VI; Rebirth

Let me state this ahead of time. It has been a long time since I've done a straight play through of FF6. I think I was 15 the last time so there might be minor inconsistencies with character placement at certain events. I absolutely will play through it again and correct any I find.

Also, not a single thing is set in stone yet and subject to change. All current information is revealed within. The storyline up to the Floating Continent is pretty much the most solid thing on this list (and all that might be subject to change depending on my playthrough).

Wedge awakes on the island with Daryl taking care of him. After a brief conversation and a little backstory, Daryl reveals she has been creating a makeshift airship for some time. Unfortunately, it will last for only one flight.

Together, they make their way to Narshe to discover what became of Biggs. There, they meet Arvis who lets them know he saw no sign of Biggs, just Terra who escaped but was followed by Locke. Arvis decides it is time he joined the Returners and goes with Daryl and Wedge. Upon reaching South Figaro, Arvis sees that the town is under the Empire's occupancy. This is where Wedge learns that Biggs had returned with tales of the esper, Tritoch, prompting the Imperial invasion. He receives word that they stationed him near Doma. Arvis decides he has to return to Narshe and await Banon. Wedge decides he must go find Biggs. Daryl decides she will press on towards the Returner's hideout to discover what became of them.

From here on out, you can choose from three scenarios.

Daryl - Daryl travels north through Mt. Kolts, encountering a seriously weakened Vargas. She takes him to the save point and erects a tent, nursing him back to health. There, he relates his story and the fact that Terra, Locke, Edgar and Sabin came through there. He wishes to join Daryl in seeking out his brother, a request she agrees to.

They arrive at the Returner's hideout to discover it under Imperial occupancy. They fight their way through, saving the captured Returners to learn that they headed back to Narshe to protect the Esper.

At this point, you follow them on the raft.

Arvis - As Arvis leaves the Western side of town, he is captured and bound. He escapes and stays ahead of Locke and Celes, never knowing how close behind they are.

Going through the tunnel, he encounters Lone Wolf, who is seeking to determine what treasures are hidden there. Together, they defeat Tunnel Armor but do not kill him.

They leave together, Lone Wolf desiring to go to Narshe with him.

Wedge - Wedge lands and hires Siegfried as a bodyguard. Wedge arrives at the camp, seeking out Biggs. All soldiers tell him various things but the fact is, Biggs died on an attack against Doma. As Wedge and Siegfried leave, Leo decides to accompany them.

The rumors of the Ghost Train pull him to it, to speak with Biggs and see who killed him. There, the Ghost Train takes off, the players forced to continue to the front and stop the conductor.

They do, stopping at the train station. As they leave, people are coming on, Biggs among them. Wedge questions him, asking what happened to him after the Esper event. Biggs informs him that he was found by Kefka and nursed back to health as was Wedge. When he came to, he discovered he could use Magitek Armor abilities without the need for the suit. When Biggs asked about Wedge, he was given the cold shoulder but pieced together an idea from those that would speak to him about it. Kefka used them as test dummies for an experiment in an attempt to create a "Magibot". His attempt on Wedge failed and Kefka attributed it to his body being too dead and dumped him in a river. His attempt with Biggs was successful however. Biggs was then sent to Doma to oversee it's capture, his new rank being just under the Generals present. He was killed during the assault by Doma's retainer.

Biggs tells him that they tested his capability in as little as a day. He requests that Wedge Healing Force him and X-Fer him. Wedge does and watches in amazement as Biggs revives.

At this point, as the team heads to the falls, Leo chooses his exit at this point. Despite what Kefka has done, Leo is still a loyal soldier to the people of The Empire.

As the teams lands on the island, they notice a grave and revive Baram (Wedge intending to test this ability further) who leads them to his home. He realizes from Baram's story that he died a violent death.

The old man becomes terribly agitated and frightened, knowing Baram died after being informed of it by Shadow. Baram demands to know what happened to his mother and his brother.

At this point, it IS possible to meet Gau on the Veldt but Dried Meat is unobtainable, rendering it futile. Baram and Gau have a conversation but Gau runs away. Baram feels it would be hopeless to pursue him, thinking him feral and beyond saving.

At the town, Wedge, Biggs, Siegfried and Baram purchase a diving helmet, heading to Nikeah to go to South Figaro by boat.

Narshe War

The Returners set themselves up as the final wave of defense. Unbeknownst to them, Arvis and his crew are the first wave protecting Narshe. They are over run however, captured by Imperial forces.

Wedge and Biggs are captured, spirited away to Vector. The others are ordered to be executed but escape. Arvis and the others escape through the Narshe caves when someone notices Lone Wolf is not among them.

As they leave, they head south to Figaro castle. Knowing Arvis, they agree to burrow but let them know they must return to Narshe in case the King shows up.

In Kohlingen, they hear the sad tale of Rachel and Arvis confirms it. He wishes they had Wedge or Biggs around.

Zozo is blocked off by a group of bandits. It is impossible to enter at this time.

They continue south to Jidoor/the Opera House. Here, the Impressario is seen begging for someone to rescue the opera singer, Maria. She has disappeared from the Opera House inexplicably. They agree to rescue her in return for passage to Vector which he agrees to.

When you head to the Opera House, you examine her dressing room.. In it, you find an autograph. Taking it to the Impresario, you learn that a man from Zozo asked her for an autograph.

Head to Zozo. After reaching the end, you battle the man who kidnapped her and rescue Maria.
He will feign ignorance at first. Search the room for the Opera Record and a battle takes place.

Head back to the Opera House. The Impresario thanks you for rescuing Maria and details how a look alike came at the last second but was kidnapped in Maria's stead. Maria feels responsible and chastises the Impresario for letting such an event occur. She joins the Heroes to rescue Celes.

The Impresario pays you, granting you access to a boat to Vector.

In Vector, you'll notice Cid. He will ask your help to retrieve some items from the Magitek facility but that everything is on lock down since the Returners infiltrated the base. You ask about Wedge and Biggs and learn that they were there. He joins you as a guest in the party and you retrieve a couple "stones" for him.
He requests that you go to Zozo to give them to the Returners.

We jump ahead to Zozo.
The Returners are gone. In the very last room, you find Wedge, Biggs, Kefka and Celes. Wedge and Biggs attack you and you're forced to defeat them.

Celes knocks Kefka unconscious, removing the slave crowns from Wedge and Biggs as she revives them. She tells them she is happy they are finding their own path, away from the Empire and urges them to continue their travels before vanishing.

Arvis and the others return to Narshe. There, they learn the Returners went to the Esper gate.
The Elder of Narshe wants you to head to South Figaro
