Here are some of my findings when digging around in the rom with yy-chr.

Characters, NPC's and Symbols/Menu Borders:

It seems like enemies in general start at "00050818" using 3BPP SNES, although everything follows the same format as the dragon below.
Some Dragon or something: 00056800 3BPP SNES

Well, it's definitely a nice start, Zeemis!

Mystic Quest is either really weird with the graphics, or it's just me. o_O
Everything seems really distorted, much like the dragon and this.
It seems I have to know the offset to find something, I'm not sure but this is how overworld tiles should be viewed, and this is how they look if I'm just browsing through the rom. I didn't decrypt anything.

I can't seem to find the font which usually resides somewhere in 2BPP GB; however, I can't really find that much when browsing 3BPP I guess. Everything turns out like above.

Zeemis, the fifth picture that has the Dragon is the tile of the Dualhead Hydra, there is the Ice Golem, Dark King, and Flamerus Rex. Its a set of the vile 4 who guard the crystals.

Overall, This game was good but to some it was fairly easy, people just dismissed it as a entry level RPG but I found it very engaging. I'd like to make some FF6 sprites of the characters in this game, it be a good challenge.

The most challenging part would utilizing the 7 colors the game seems to force us to use lol. Go 3BPP, woo!
I've beaten the game, but awhile back when I was in 10th grade. I'm, 23 now.

Can you elaborate? Is this a hack you did?

actually, no, i used pro action replay codes for the resistances.

edit: i'd love to see a ff mystic quest hack that is challenging.
