Okay, so I installed the Flames of Eternity hack for Chrono Trigger (most recent version, as of this month) and some songs, notably Tyrano Lair, had some instrument changes made (a remix/arrangement if you will). Well, I really didn't like it, so used a program called SPC Editor, which was made by JCE3000GT to change it back. I first opened the original, unaltered Chrono Trigger ROM to see what instrument table(s) it used, used print screen and then copied the exact same instrument table to the hacked Chrono Trigger ROM for Tyrano Lair. Well, after doing that, and loading the ROM, it sounded fine at first, until it got to the part of the song where it did stereo panning (right before it loops to the beginning); I hear static! What the heck?

This is what the song is supposed to sound like (non-hacked ROM):

This is what is sounds like after I changed the "remix" back to the exact same instrument table as the original (from Flames of Eternity, after I changed it back to what I thought was normal):

During the songs, from 1:45 to 2:05 it should sound smooth, but in the second song (the one I tried to correct) the same panning makes your ears bleed (you have been warned). What instrument is that last channel supposed to be changed to!? Crystal Synth?

Here's what the table looks like in a non-hacked ROM, and again, I copied those exact settings and it sounds weird now -
