It's looking snazzy. I'll take a closer look.
Just from looking at the sprite, I do see some pillow shading in the helmet.


The one thing I notice that really shows the pillow shading is how similar the shades of blue are.

Oh ok, I looked at the way the imperial soldier's helm was shaded for the back view sprites

It will, but it'll need a lot of touching up.
This is the first step I've done in touching it up. I'm using the palette that the GBA Golbez used. I'll now proceed with touching up the sprites with this palette, and maybe using a sprite or two from the GBA version. Overall, it's a really good job.

I tryed 2 make the coulers darker to match that of ff6 sprites although it could be better lol
I based the spell sprite on the GBA version

I personally like the darker blue better, but I agree that it needed more contrast between the shading colors. Also, the yellow is still too vivid for the dark blue that FEOK used.
