Though I can't be 100% sure, I'd highly doubt it. I mean why would there be, was this an issue for you on a previous version of this hack?

It might be one of the fix made that has some incompatibility.. When patching I applied 4 fixes, maybe one shouldn't be applied. Safest thing would be to play "vanilla" BNW 1.8.5..

Here's the official changelog for 1.8.6 (COMING SOON):
• Added new hacks to lessen the effect of speed granting faster characters more turns over time and to increase its effect on the likelihood of getting first strike
• Added new hacks to allow speed to influence the likelihood of getting rare steals and for successful steal attempts to be treated as "free" actions
• Added a new hack allowing Gau to Leap on rageable formations outside of the Veldt
• Fixed a bug with the "Y-Equip Relics" hack where stat previews for changing equipment would display incorrectly after switching between menus
• Fixed a bug where the Quartrstaff and Doomstick would crash the game when using MP for critical hits
• Fixed a bug with Setzer's Dice where the animation would display incorrectly and also crash the game
• Fixed a bug with X-Fight where the X-Fight penalty and the dual-wield penalty were not stacking
• The Kagenui now has the correct stats
• Fixed the incorrect attack priorities on the Tumbleweed rage
• Fixed the Raiden summon (only accessible via Slots) to be identical to Odin
• Made a small change to Tiamat's script
• Added a(nother) hint about fighting Phunbaba to Terra's dialogue
• Adjusted the encounters near WoR Albrook to prevent solo Celes from getting into unfair fights

Discord is nigh impossible for me to use due to their "suspicious login" automated flagging and my network setup, so could someone post a link to the patch with the latest bugfixes?

I'm trying this hack. I played pretty far into it some time ago, but I kept dying at the imperial air force blockade part because I insisted on using an unusual party composition
. That was back in the 1.6 days though I think, so I'm trying a new playthrough from the start now.
So far I'm loving it. One thing I found particularly interesting is how you can pick out equipment to sort of micro-manage your build and there are a lot of viable options. I see you've removed the "optimize" button to really showcase the customizability.... Unfortunately, optimization still seems to exist! I gave Terra a boomerang and an iron shield so she could chill in the back row and snipe birds, but when I got to the scenario split and picked her campaign, she was suddenly wielding two swords! What the heck? Is it possible to remove this auto-optimize? I talked to the Kappa but I said No.
Speaking of equipment, is's very cool that you can view the equipment's stats in the store menu. But, it'd be even better if you could view the equipment stats from the equip menu. Is that something you could add? It's kind of inconvenient to have to remove it and find it in the items menu to see its stats.
I'm loving the humorous changes to the game's dialog. Though, there are still a good deal of vanilla SNES lines that could use an update for accuracy. By which I mean, I've grown fond of the GBA script.
Also, happy to see there's no schrodinger's chests in this.

Idon't know which version are you playing. As you can see your post is the first after 5 years inactivity. The mod development is still very alive. The last version is 2.2 and we have a release candidate with many qol features and gameplay improvements. You can download it at https://github.com/Gens81/brave-new-world/releases. Have fun!
Ah, thanks for the link. Looks like I was using 2.1 without choreography. 2.2 RC2 seems quite cool.
Just starting it, I noticed fighting is way more effective than fire against the repo man. That's cool to make encounters like this a little more interesting, like in FF4 3D.
I also noticed Terra casts fire in the flashback now, which is more fitting. TBH I really like the version of this scene in Antimonia where she doesn't use magitek armor and she spreads the fire to all 3 soldiers.
Anyway, I notice there's still no way to pull up an item's stats in the Equip screen. Is it possible to bring the "press Y to see stats" feature from the store interface into the Equip screen as well?
Also, should I be discussing this somewhere else?

Oh wow, had no idea this was updated. Any chance this will work with the alternate script patches? (i.e. Fan translation, etc.)?
