Designed specifically for mobile, Final Fantasy Brave Exvius is a role-playing game in Square Enix's classic Final Fantasy style. The story follows "two knights of the kingdom of Grandshelt," along with a "young girl who suddenly appears before them" on an adventure to find a "sought after crystal." The game uses traditional turn-based gameplay as players venture through "various types" of dungeons in search of "items, hidden paths, and new routes."

Final Fantasy Brave Exvius features "high-quality CG animations of Final Fantasy summons" and appearances from familiar characters like the Warrior of Light, Cecil, Vivi, and Terra. The game aims to be easy to pick up for newcomers.

Although the game doesn't officially launch until summer, you can preregister now at finalfantasyexvius.com. Do that and you will receive "special in-game items" when the game arrives.

It was also confirmed today that Final Fantasy Brave Exvius will offer six languages for its launch outside of Japan: English, German, French, Spanish, Chinese (traditional) and Korean. Finally, the game will be playable at Square Enix's booth at E3 next month, from June 14-16.

For those who would like to play it now, you can get it on the Google Play Store. The game is currently in soft-launch phase with cash shop features. For those of you who are unaware of what soft launch means, it's a system where the game is live in certain parts of the world with no data wipe. Players can also spend money on the game during the soft-launch and there may not be a data wipe due to the cash shop being live. You can watch some gameplay of this version here. You can also try downloading the APK if you want to bypass the Country restrictions if you want to get a headstart before everyone else.

I'm really interested in this... but my tablet can't seem to play it. I might need to wait for the official version for support. Or just get a better device >_<
