Final Fantasy V Project Syldra

This will be my first project for awhile
the mortal kombat hack is lost, but with ffv being so easy to hack on steam i will
try to give it a complete graphical overhaul, bare in mind this may take some time.
I plan for jobs to look different among the characters instead of the same, and i will be hand drawing some monsters
and using my scanner to full effect..

So i did my first streaming of many and started and finished this during that time:

ps sorry madsiur i blew the images up by mistake. question whether i might be able to turn the stactic
menu sprite into a portrait.. wonder if that sprite in part 2 is used anywhere else?

This looks great. Sorry I wasn't able to stick around longer for more of the stream... I'm really interested in spriting but am decidedly mediocre at it... and thats only for FFVI... i can't even imagine doing stuff like this...
It's amazing how much something like adding a little highlighting in the hair makes a huge difference in the appearance. This is clearly an improvement on the original. It makes the other members of the cast look flat.

thanks very much man imo doing anything in gimp rather than anything else makes things easy, i would consider spriting in se harder than this. don't worry about it i will stream again.. maybe with my mic next time, maybe i could help you out with the youtube channel on some spriting videos? anyways keep an eye out for later... first job in bound.. it will be different

We could definitely have a spriting tutorials/streams playlist on the channel. You could go over basic or more advanced stuff, it's up to you really. The videos would be more interesting if they have comments but you decide in the end.

Update monster wise, white mage will be coming soon same with blue then we can try to sort the mess that is gaulf out!
