What is your favorite generic place in RPGs?

I voted happy town because those usually mean easy access to new weapons/armors and spells. Also you should edit the OP with the games each picture is from because I'm stupid on some of them.
I guess I'm the only goober that likes playing in the snow...
I dont know if I'd call it the generic snow scape(FF7 snow while interesting and peaceful was way to long an area to be that slow) but the area that came to my mind was Secret of Mana's winter wonderland. Come on, there were snowmen, wolves, crazy super Santa, the town that was warmed with a cast iron stove holding the god of fire, And getting there involved a cannon. Good times!
I have to say though BoF always had the best criminal towns.

The only true wisdom is knowing you know nothing.
