This thread is for us video game music lovers! Lets see which old school game songs you love and lets hear their arrangements. The arrangements can either be ones you've created, another individual has created or even a game company that releases the game on an updated newer console/handheld system. Such as the case of my first entries.

I'll start.

Final Fantasy Legend III - Theme of Another Dimension
SaGa 3 Jikuu no Hasha - Theme of Another Dimension
Final Fantasy Legend II - Never Give Up
SaGa 2 Hiho Densetsu - Never Give Up
Final Fantasy Legend II - Lethal Strike

Final Fantasy Legend III - Fight!
SaGa 3 Jikuu no Hasha - Fight!

Most of the remixes in Final Fantasy 4: Echoes of Betrayal, Light of Redemption are awesome.

Phantom of the Zeromus always makes me laugh, though. Zeromus via the Phantom of the Opera? Awesome.

Just last month Dwelling of Duels had a Chrono Trigger vs Final Fantasy 6 theme, with a bunch of amazing remixes, my favorites being a beautifully done symhonic version of FF6's WoR town music, and a mindblowingly epic metal version of the Vector/early Terra/Kefka flashback scene complete with an old guy speaking Emperor Gestahl's lines about dominating the world before it al kicks in.

For those who don't know of the site, Dwelling of Duels is a site that each month has a different theme, like Free Month, Konami month, etc, with music ranging from accoustic, to symphonic, to metal. There's a staggering amount of quality music to check out, I highly reccomend it to anyone who hasn't checked it out yet.

The best remakes in my opinion are orchestral remakes, such as Tour de Japon.

However, a rare and important source of musical remakes---ragtime piano remakes----comes from Tom Briar:

Sonic 2 - Casino Night Zone - Tom Briar (YouTube)

Sonic (3?) - Gumball Bonus Stage - Tom Briar (YouTube)

He has many other songs recorded because of a video game enthusiast that arranges and converts a lot of themes into music sheets and personally asks Tom to play them.
