Thank you!
There is no entrance to Returners' hideout anymore.

Have any of you played around with the new tileset yet?

Yeah! Like I said, there is no entrance to Returners' hideout anymore. But it seems that my double post has been morphed into a signature...

Where's the entrance to the Returner's Hideout? I can't find it in the new tileset when I go over there...
To finish the story, I need to get the Returner Hideout.

You know, this thread has me thinking. I wonder how FF6's overworld tileset would look in FF4 or FF5...

It would look very interesting without the Mode 7, I'd love to see!
My guess is it probably wouldn't work the same way, or look as good as importing the tiles from IV to VI, for whatever reasons, limitations or something.

We are born, live, die and then do the same thing over again.

Hi guys, I'm posting a new versions to this patch (which shouldn't affect anyone's gameplay, except fix the missing cave entrance for the Returners Hideout). I've just reinstalled Windows 7 and don't yet have my FTP client up and running for this site so I'm just gonna use the taboo-some attachment until then.

There is a random theater on the way to Zozo...
Vector's gables are the same colour as moving waters. It gives them a "crystal-like" look...

I actually recreated the world map for FF4 using FF6's WoB tileset once (it was for a very bad character-mashup remake of FF4). It didn't look half bad, though as you said, not exactly the same (mainly because I was using a game maker and not the original ROM, so no Mode 7).
