Gaining a greater health from Potions?

Where is the data for the HP gained on level up stored? Because somehow the Superball change radically altered the HP growth chart. I doubt it was anything I did outside the potion change, the back-ups to where it was right and where it messed up were two hours apart on the same day, and I didn't do any other major work that day.
