So all I want, is switch the sprites of Cyan and Leo
problem is, that the sprites get switched, but not the palette, those just dont get saved...
any way for characters to actually use a different palette without changing the palettes themselves?
because i dont want to change anything else than those 2 characters

I actually JUST had a similar issue, I posted about it as well. Here's the link to that, I talked about what issues I had and what I did to fix them- let me know if that helps!

OP do you mean that the palette outside of battle only isn't changing/saving? Like in battle the palette is correct, but outside battle on the map not? Or is it more of a general importing sprite issue like Jeff's thread there? Try to elaborate as much as possible.

this 1:1

well i know that the palettes are assigned to character-slots, so im not ever touching those

any fix for this? since FFSE cant touch non-battle palettes and FFusME apparently doesnt save them

For the non-battle palette stuff, you'll need to edit the event code values that deal with it when they are recruited, here's a good thread about it, it's a popular question so I'm sure there's more if you search around here and on the wiki:

https://www.ff6hacking.com/forums/thread...alette+map

Besides that, there are some instances of them being placed on the map as an object, so you'll need to use the level editor in order to change the palettes there for those.

The good thread about it is the Palette Document available here:
