Is there a simple title screen fix? - J92R - 01-05-2019

Now, I'll be honest, when it comes to games, my biggest pet peeve is when a game has the WRONG TITLE SCREEN. This is without a doubt, something that will actually make me unable to play the game, purely because I guess its like OCD or something, but its something that lingers in my mind and gets on my nerves to the point it ruins games for me.

That said, I'm curious if anyone has made specifically, just a title screen fix for Final Fantasy IV that changes its Final Fantasy II screen (which is really ugly and obnoxious) into its Japanese Final Fantasy IV title screen that it was intended to be in the first place.

(and possibly one for Seiken Densetsu Gaiden (also retitled to Final Fantasy Adventure, because Square is a massive A-Hole)).

Much appreciated, that way I could perhaps find more uses for it, and maybe so others could fix their hacks that still maintain the incorrectly titled Final Fantasy II title screen.

This seems to be more than just vanilla FFIV and looks like it makes a series of improvements on top of the title screen update but here you go:

You may want to contact Paladin on RHDN, he made the title screen change.

For Namingway Edition, which is a fork from Project II, it has the options for either the modified US title screen used in Project II or a modified version of the Japanese title screen since with had difficulty getting it applied to the US ROM.
