Special Attacks - Lightning - 05-06-2018

Does anyone know if special attacks #236 and #124 cause any unwanted side effects in FF3? In FF3usME, the description of them is cut off, and I can't read the whole thing. As such, I am not sure if the description gives some sort of dire warning in the part I can't read, like "glitches the game" or whatever. I was going to use these two effects for several new monsters I created, but I don't want any unusual side effects popping up later!

Here are what the descriptions say in FF3usME before it is cut off:

124 = (white katana appears over selected target and
236 = (white sword is swung over target, makes the big

It is kind of silly that I haven't figured out a way to read the rest of the description... The attacks sure do look cool, however.

i think it's not a good idea to use special attacks beyond the number they warn you to stay away from:
Even if appearently it doesn't happen anything, eventually some glitch can happen... 
especially if the battle is long and the monster has many opportunities to use it.
Gi Nattak knows something about it, actually that's also my case since i had to change Ultimate Czar Dragon's special animation:
after an hour or something of fight it suddenly glitched and the outcome was kinda unpleasant.

Good to know, but what is the number specified? How high should I go?

I'm not sure if Lord J tested them beyond the 1st try on some monster. What is safe is using those that are used by vanilla monsters, what could maybe be unsafe is using those not used in vanilla game and what is certainly unsafe is using those labeled as "DO NO USE".

Yeah, the only problem is that I can't read the whole description of each special attack. ;P

However, I will play it safe and only use attacks that are used officially.

0A=triple horizontal white slashes
09=green bite marks (where did this go!?)

07=white crescent-moon-shaped slash

i used F0=(red and blue whiplash, makes the grav bomb sound)
for my boss, despite there's no warning it still can glitch.
the last used from vanilla is number 33(not 0x33), starting from 34 it's unsafe.
on a side note i noticed that 1D=missile flies at opponent from attacker
is not used by any monster in vanilla... weird.

I noticed that too. I've already used it with several monsters in my hack!

I was actually the one that tested and figured out all of those values, I personally don't remember much, but a lot of them should be avoided altogether, a lot of them are dummied out and don't even do anything anyway

Has anyone had any issues with using odd weapons for the "normal attack look" function in FF3usME? For example, if I have a monster throw darts, cards, or dice, will this potentially mess up the game? I ask this, because I actually thought about giving the Joker cards for a normal weapon instead of an "empty" attack, but I'm not sure if this might make the game unstable.
