RE: MBTI Personality Test - Gi Nattak - 07-23-2016

Kinda zipped through it but understood the questions for the most part and took it seriously, however I answered 'uncertain' for a bunch because I could see myself answering both no or yes, anyways here's my breakdown:

ESTJ
Extravert(3%) Sensing(12%) Thinking(9%) Judging(3%)
You have marginal or no preference of Extraversion over Introversion (3%)
You have slight preference of Sensing over Intuition (12%)
You have slight preference of Thinking over Feeling (9%)
You have marginal or no preference of Judging over Perceiving (3%)

My personal feelings about this test and others like it, is there is no accurate way to diagnose one's personality with such a seemingly basic Q & A, but I'm no expert.

You have moderate preference of Sensing over Intuition (38%)
You have slight preference of Feeling over Thinking (16%)
You have slight preference of Perceiving over Judging (19%)

My two cents on that is that the test is accurate for what it does if you honestly and accurately answered: classify your information gathering and decision making processes. The MBTI is vastly used by a lot of professionals and based on solid Psychology work. It's not a breakdown of your personality as a whole and doesn't account things such as traumatic experiences, mental health problems and such that could affect your behaviors and general experiences. But guess what, experiences are for the most influenced by the decision / choices you take which are determined by the cognitive processes classified by the MBTI. I'm no expert to identify the potential flaws of the theory but I think it tells a lot. It would probably tells more to you if you read on your type and the application of the classification to your type.

To summarize, it's not your average Ok Cupid personality quiz or "which star wars character are you" test.

I hope it's okay to bump this old thread.  I've often gotten anywhere from INFP to ISTJ with these things, although INFP is what I usually get.

Not today. First result gave me:

Quote:
INFJ
Introvert(97%)  iNtuitive(22%) Feeling(19%)  Judging(44%)

  • You have strong preference of Introversion over Extraversion (97%)

  • You have slight preference of Intuition over Sensing (22%)

  • You have slight preference of Feeling over Thinking (19%)

  • You have moderate preference of Judging over Perceiving (44%)

The other one pegged me as ISFP with the following breakdowns:

Quote:Extroverted
