Text Edit Contest (Beginner Friendly!) - B-Run - 06-27-2016

A picture is worth a thousand words... but with just a few words, some pictures become something completely different.

Let's have a contest to see just how much one line of text can completely change the game! The best part? ANYONE CAN DO IT! All you need is a copy of FF3usME.

Edit: If you run FF3usME for the first time and get an error, you'll need to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package, either the x64 version or x86 version depending on which version of FF3usME you use. -Madsiur

Next open the dialog editor:

Once open, change the desired text and click "Apply":

Then just screenshot your change and post it here! It's that easy! If you are having trouble, please ask. The community is quick to help, it's one of our strongest qualities.

Rules:
1. Maximum two entires per person
2. You can change ANY SINGLE box of dialog in the entire game (Vanilla only)
3. Keep it tasteful, no excessive cursing or sexual content
4. Do not discourage or put down other poster's submissions
5. Submissions will be accepted until Wednesday, July 6th
6. Results will be posted here no later than Friday, July 8th

Edit: I took the freedom to announce this contest on twitter and on Facebook (in some FF groups). Since it's easy to participate, non-hackers could potentially come up with hilarious stuff and original entries.

It's as in 'it has'. Sounds a bit redundant, 'it has got', but it's a fairly common idiom and I think works in that case.

If i read properly the OP, it's not supposed to be mandatory to make a comic text change, it just have to change the situation, right?
Still i'm kinda sure people will gonna vote assuming the funniest is the winner

Ha, yeah I for some reason thought comedy/parody right away, didn't even cross my mind at the time to do a serious one that changes the story or situation in a most interesting way, but I'd bet those kind would be more to what B-Run was thinking of for this, despite his own hilarious parody pic lol. The two I did are more random one-liner quality and do nothing to change the story, though... Shadow being the World Champion Tickle Master would have a much bigger impact on the story indeed. Laugh

Hmm I dunno maybe I can redo my entries before the deadline if that's allowed.

It doesn't necessarily have to be funny. But that's probably what most people will go for. I am the sole judge, tho I may ask for some opinions from people outside the competition. I will have no bias on the style of content, so long as it's well done.

You can change your entries, but make a point to edit your submission post to remove unwanted submissions...
...however, if it feels like this privilege is getting abused by people constantly getting feedback then switching their submissions, I will shut it down.
