All was going well. Then, I'll let this speak for itself.

The battles in the intro looked perfectly fine.

EDIT - Found threads that explain the reason. I'm just wondering if there's a fix beyond reducing the number of enemies.

Trust me, you don't want to know the second way...  Hold on

RE: Pony Fantasy VI Remake - DrakeyC - 04-25-2016

Oh well, one enemy encounter isn't a big deal.

EDIT - Actually made it work, changed the encounters so the third fight against the two Armors replaces that fight, and the third fight is against Mega Armor. So you kinda sort have a miniboss (it's still an easy battle over in two rounds, given you have Magitek Armor).

How can I edit the sailing ship that appears on the overworld map?

RE: Pony Fantasy VI Remake - Kugawattan - 04-27-2016

You mean the path or the sprite?

RE: Pony Fantasy VI Remake - DrakeyC - 04-27-2016

The sprite. Mine is a green and red mass of pixels, definitely needs to be recolored.

If it's not editable in usME it is probably a compressed graphic, like a spell, or the flying Esper Terra in Zozo. Check out Madsiur's YYCHR tutorials.

Goodie. I'll have a look, and see if maybe Rydel knows it on his end, hopefully he won't mind. Wish me luck.

Good luck!

The boat is compressed graphics ($2FCFB9-$2FDC4B unheadered ROM). You decompress the whole block, edit with YY-CHR and recompress after. I made a small video tutorial about this but with the shield example.
