5 pacific time is 9 for us (atlantic) that works rather well actually. we're usually up stupid late, so we could start and hour or two later if that's better for you? monday is my daughter's birthday so a later start time, if we opt for monday, would be ideal for me.

5/9pm is late enough for me. Let's do it tomorrow? For Tenka's sake.

Thanks bro, if you race tomorrow then lemme know which hour you'll race Wink

RE: Racing on twitch with Beyond Chaos - MrEntity - 09-28-2015

This thread is long as balls. I'd prefer to do the race tonight since that's what Jack told me to expect, but under duress I CAN do it Tuesday - it just isn't optimal for me with uni class times and stuff.

RE: Racing on twitch with Beyond Chaos - Jackimus - 09-28-2015

huh, tomorrow then? alright, I suppose

We raced, I lost. Pincer attacks are brutal. Also, I killed Kefka with a merton, and I think It should count.

(that said, I went back and killed him "proper" anyway)

RE: Racing on twitch with Beyond Chaos - MrEntity - 09-29-2015

It should not count. Jack is stupid. While the goal has been vaguely stated as "race to Kefka", I would say the goal has fairly clearly always been not to f**k up that scenario: i.e. to kill Kefka and not to have Banon die.

RE: Racing on twitch with Beyond Chaos - Jackimus - 09-29-2015

but I "killed" him. that was my interpretation of the rules (not that it changes the fact I was last). We propably should define the win condition better than "race to kefka"

Thankfully, it won't matter in a speedcave run.

RE: Racing on twitch with Beyond Chaos - MrEntity - 09-29-2015

I have always interpreted it as "beating" Kefka, i.e. preventing him from reaching his goals, i.e. disallowing the imperials from trouncing through Narshe. This means A) keeping Banon alive, and B) making Kefka run away.

your face makes kefka run away
