I have a doubt: when you use FF3 se there's a bunch of palettes, especially a lot of monochrome black ones, they continue even beyond #600.
I started to use them for make new palettes, but what if that space is used from something else in the ROM? i mean, is there any chance that the game just used something like 512 palettes, but the program allows you to invade another part of the ROM?

It's better to know it now, before i make a disaster with the ROM... Hold on

Those are indeed unused and okay to use, won't affect anything else or take up extra space invading into other data or anything like that.

You would also had a confirmation by looking at the ROM map and seeing there is 768 entries.
