[Idea] Final Fantasy Confessions - Scorcher - 10-17-2014
Okay, I have this thread idea where we confess things we do while playing Final Fantasy games. I've seen quite a few forums do this and I think it would be entertaining to see what weird things people do while playing Final Fantasy. I'll start.
Whenever I played as Leo in Final Fantasy 6 I always sang Peacemaker by Sonata Arctica.

The weirdest stuff i did in the same moment was to playing to PS3 at Disgaea, grinding in order to beat 100.000.000.000 HP Baal, and hacking/playing FF6 on pc at the same moment...

On some playthroughs I like to name my characters insults to spice up the dialogue. It's like watching them have funny arguements. For instance, on a playthrough of the ps1 version I renamed Terra, Locke, and Edgar to Stinky, Jimbo, and Tard respectively.

Lol i did the same with steiner, naming him idiot instead, so when Garnet says his name and surname together, then it looks like she insults him

Actually, I said you could post anything funny you did while playing any Final Fantasy game. I also named my characters in FF7 after Legend of Zelda characters. XD

Lol I named Barrett Mr.T once in a playthrough of FF7.
Cloud's name was changed to Gibbles, and Tifa's was switched to Higgins.Cait Sith was named Useless, which had me rolling in laughter at the end of the pyramid dungeon.

Sometimes, when I play Final Fantasy games, I like to pretend that the characters are either hilariously evil or hilariously inept at the whole saving the world thing.0:-)

* I've never owned Final Fantasy IV, I did rent it, but it's my favorite of the series by far. I still plan on getting an old SNES and playing it.
* I never beat any bosses on FFVI when I had it on the SNES, except for the Whelk and the Marshall at the start of the game, I progressed better later after I understood defense and strengths and weaknesses of monsters.
* I've never actually beaten the game on the SNES, my stepfather did years ago when we had it. I did beat it on emulator. The only 2 RPGs I have ever beaten on SNES were Super Mario RPG and Final Fantasy Mystic Quest but that game gets a bad reputation for being an entry level RPG but there is still fun to be had.
* I never was able to properly execute a Blitz technique when I had the game as a kid, it wasn't until I got it on emulator did I figure out the trick that when the arrow points at Sabin and then do the button combo.
* My sister is named Tara after the girl character of FFVI, my mother did not like the spelling Terra, so she decided to change the spelling of it to Tara instead.
* I've never used the Merton or Ultima spells in the game.
