Win that battle, and you'll know why it's accessible even to casuals Wink

About the possibility of using the save state for shorten the video length...

You can load the save state starting only from when the Tenkarider's staff intercepts Terra, and that save state MUST load, at maximum, within the black screen in which the moogle speaks.

Another rule to follow is that, before loading the save state you must show the items in the inventory(all in the same visible portion of the items inventory screen), and when you have loaded the save state, as soon as you can move, you must open the inventory and show the inventory to verify that there are the same items at the same position.

Too much fiscal? C'mon, the timer will start after you'll leave the items inventory screen(not the inventory in general XD) Objection!

PS. If you didn't even planning to use the save state, then you can ignore all the shit written above Laugh

Tenkarider, I know you don't mean act in a wrong way, but could you lower the thread bumping and double-posting to minimum? Try edit your latest post if possible.

In this regard, you should be aware of rule #1:

"1. No spamming or flooding. Meaning that you don't double-post, you don't destroy topics with unrelated comments, you don't post in shout more than four times in a row, and you don't reply on your own thread to bump it up. Third warning will be a ban."

Didn't knew it, but what if have to communicate something important?
I mean, i cannot force people to post here, if they only read and nothing else, just to get the chance of post again... Sad

By the way... you said that you may give a shot to lockirby2's contest, could you give a chance to my contest too? Wink

A solution to this would be to announce it by the way of The Shout Box.

I hope it so... i'm not sure about if that worked with me until now...

But that works only for short updates, is it possible to close an eye for double posts, if i have to post a big update, or something?(10+ lines) Objection!

All double posting attempt within 48 hours from now on will result in a auto-merge post.

About save state rules and stuff... forget them.
I just wanted to make you recording the task in a professional way... who cares? XD

I don't want to risk that someone doesn't try the task, beacuse it may start to sound complicate or something.

If you wish, you can make start the video in the exact moment in which you can move Locke and the moogles... i'll find out your starting items in a snap in any case Wink

PS. if there's someone that would like to partecipate, but doesn't know how to record the task... just tell me and i'll provide you what you need Wink

Another thing: i've created the task only in english because i wanted to make fast, but if there's someone that would like the italian version, then let me know that, and i'll provide you the italian version in a snap Wink

RE: FF6 Tenkarider's contest (accessible even to casuals) - Tenkarider - 06-27-2014

Since in the site of Insane Difficulty they asked me some advice, and someone here is starting to think that the task is almost impossible, i decided to put that post even in this site:

Two great advices(despite the Infoman in the story mention that) :

THE INVENTORY IN BATTLE: Pay attention to your resources in the inventory, while you are in battle;
WEAPON SWITCH IN BATTLE: take in consideration the necessity of switch weapons in battle, really.

If you'll ask for further advices i may give you some, but the ones above are SO much important, that actually makes the puzzle a lot simpler.
It would have been nice if you caught that details on your own, but i admit that they are actually advanced strategies.

As said in previous posts these tasks aim to teach really nice tricks to mid-casual players, in order to make them better at FF6 Wink

PS. my personal record to complete the task is about 10:30 Smile

What characters can you switch out besides Locke & Mog? Unless you gave the other Moogles the Ability to switch their weapons during battle as well.
