I'm going to assume that this extends to any trick involving Vanish to bypass death protection. Vanish+demi is pretty ownage here and kinda defeats the purpose of preparing.

Notice "expertise" In quotation marks. Maybe sometime, but I fear I'll need to do some of these vanilla things first before I try a modded thing. Also, I can't seem to get the save file to work(because I'm a noob >.<)

Which one? the actual save, or the save state? Lockirby2 has both of them, for make them work, ask to him(anyway the actual save should just require to have the same name of the rom)

My answer is the same: give to the save and the rom the same name, in some snes9x versions there is the folder that contains srm(saves) files.
in a way or the other you should be able to try the contest

Yeah, Vanish/Demi and anything else that falls into that category is not usable. Vanish/Doom is just the name I use to cover the whole lot of them. I mean, technically if you took it to mean the Doom spell specifically, then one could just use X-Zone and call it a day.

hey Lockirby, i was wondering... don't you mind if i decide to do something like your contest?
I dunno... maybe a bit hard, but still accessible to everyone;
Rules and time similar to yours... but instead of a simple task(if you weren't planning to do it already), something like solving an invented puzzle, escape from a place, survive from something, etc...
I don't wanna steal your show(actually that would backfire me
),but i like the idea of making circle some life inside the forum(Insane difficulty hasn't that problem, but they won't retire from a contest, i think...)

I just want to put out a reminder that there is about one week left to participate in this. If you have recorded anything, please show it to me soon if possible via an Unlisted YouTube video or Mediafire, etc. Please don't make any videos public until I have released the results video, just make sure the videos are given to me privately, otherwise you might spoil the fun.
After I release the video, feel free to do whatever.Cyprus and Madsiur, you both expressed interest in participating, are you both still planning on making a submission?
