FF3usME mfc100u.dll issue - JCE3000GT - 05-29-2014 Installed the DLL's on Lord J's site on the new Windows XP installation. then proceeded to install the VC++ package. And after that received the following error. I went to several sites to download the DLL but they all still give me the error in the screenshot. WTF is wrong with this thing. LOL RE: FF3usME mfc100u.dll issue - Xenovant - 05-29-2014 Not a valid windows image? Dafuq? ![]() Which version of vc++ have you installed? x64? Try uninstalling it and installing the x86 version. You could also try to copy the .dll in the same directory where ff3usme is. RE: FF3usME mfc100u.dll issue - JCE3000GT - 05-29-2014 I reinstalled the latest x86 VC++ three times. Wonder if I should uninstall it and install an older version..? RE: FF3usME mfc100u.dll issue - Xenovant - 05-29-2014 I always have the latest version of everything, so I don't think it would be the problem, because it works on my pc. I have also tested it on windows xp, xp x64 and 7 x64. The 'not a valid windows image' sounds like the dll is totally incompatible (the app expects an x86 dll and it finds an x64 one or viceversa), if you had a different version it would simply say "couldn't find the instruction whatever" or "unexpected whatever". Which version of xp do you have? Remember that x64 has 2 "system32" folders (system32 and syswow64). Maybe you have an x86 dll or x64 dll where you shouldn't. You could do what I said earlier: copy the dll where ff3usme is, this way, you'll make sure it will attempt to load the dll you want and not another one you have somewhere else and it's driving you crazy ![]() Or you could try the other version of ff3usme (x64/x86). RE: FF3usME mfc100u.dll issue - JCE3000GT - 05-29-2014 I have a 32-bit CPU and a 32-bit Windows XP (Media Center 2005). Everything should be 32-bit so I'm not sure why this isn't working. EDIT So I downloaded FF3usME V6.60 and it works, but it doesn't have the BRR editor I want to mess around with. ![]() RE: FF3usME mfc100u.dll issue - Xenovant - 05-29-2014 Give me 10-15 minutes (I need to find my laptop first xD), and I'll pack all the .dlls you'll need in a zip. Extract both .dll in the same folder of ff3usme http://www.mediafire.com/download/gg3ha539ux9hojy/ff3usme+dlls.rar It should work now, if it doesn't... maybe you'll need to uninstall your vc++ (Madsiur will kill me for the double post ![]() edit: yay! no double post! xDD RE: FF3usME mfc100u.dll issue - JCE3000GT - 05-29-2014 Worked thank you. The mfc100u you zipped up was smaller than the ones I downloaded online. Odd... RE: FF3usME mfc100u.dll issue - Xenovant - 05-29-2014 Phew... ![]() |
