Sprite Editor issue - vince94 - 05-05-2014 Hey, so I'm trying to use FF3se to change the portraits, but every time I open the ROM I'm hacking (or freshly-downloaded 1.0 and 1.1 ROMs), it says "This file does not appear to be a valid Final Fantasy III ROM. Do you want to load it anyway?" If I click no, it just goes back to the empty page, and if I click yes, it crashes. What do you think is wrong? Does the ROM have to be headered? RE: Sprite Editor issue - vince94 - 05-05-2014 Yeah, that was it. I used NSRT to add a header, and it opened just fine. RE: Sprite Editor issue - madsiur - 05-05-2014 Thread closed since the "problem" was solved. On a side note, the fact that FF3SE required a headered ROM was mentioned in numerous threads before. *Points to search function...* |
