I am going with Cecil because he's one I can identify with. He's smart and can control airships. He has to renounce his dark side and become a Paladin and he just is an offensive stud. Never liked Terra that much, felt she was a bit too disconnected to me. I could not identify with the girl as he main character, I was young then and wanted a male lead character.
