FF6 RAM Editor crashing - EP - 09-21-2012

Is this program incompatible with Win7 64 bit? I can not get it to load.

RE: FF6 RAM Editor crashing - B-Run - 09-22-2012

I don't have much experience with the RAM editor, but I haven't had problems running it on 64-bit windows 7. Maybe try redownloading or see if you need it to run it in 32-bit compatibility mode.

What is the error message?

RE: FF6 RAM Editor crashing - EP - 09-23-2012

I had to disable DEP for it first but now I get "An exception of class OutOfBoundsException was not handled. The application must be shut down."

On a somewhat related note FF3usME x64 doesn't work, "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). but 32 bit loads fine.

This is a pretty generic error. I can't really help you because I run the 32 bit version of Windows 7. But given the fact the editor was made in 2005, it is most likely related to the fact you're trying to run it on Windows 7 64 bit.

64 bit ME has never worked. 32 bit is the way to go.

I will look at my copy of the ram editor tomorrow and see if there's anything special I have set up. In the meantime google that error code. Also, what processor, motherboard, and exact version/update of windows 7 are you running?

RE: FF6 RAM Editor crashing - EP - 09-24-2012

Motherboard is a DELL 0UY253
CPU is an Intel Core2 Quad 2.66GHz (OC to 2.93Ghz)
I'm running Win7 Ultimate with SP1 (Build 7601)

I looked up the 0xc000007b error on x64 FF3usME and it may have to do with DLLs I downloaded to make the 32bit version work is using 32 bit DLLs. No help with the out of bounds error.
