RE: FF6 ROTDS first time run playthrough - Tenkarider - 10-30-2015 part 78: Stealing requirements for bosses are too much harsh... ![]() [spoiler][/spoiler] Yeah, i wanted to fight endgame bosses at avg level 40, but if i wanna steal i need to grind levels with Tifa(in 1.3.1 version thief cloak is available for few characters, i look forward seeing in 1.4 thief ring, really) part 79: Misleading Info [spoiler][/spoiler] I somehow expected that Astral was somewhere in the world, too bad that as NPC he's not quite worth to be used... If you ask what in the hell i went to do in Ancient castle... well my bro gave me a wrong hint about Golbez location... now i believe i know where he actually is. PS. ancient cave turned out to be a super stat boost + AP farm. part 80: Deadly trap [spoiler][/spoiler] That bastard of Gilgamesh... how he dares to waste all those precious weapons?!? and he was searching for a weapon less strong than the ones he threw! Quite funny to notice that after the battle you can still see Gilgamesh's static sprite above the screen(dunno if it disappears after you exit from the room) in any case i'm pretty sure that's unwanted and probably you wanna fix that... And here's the other one: (even if you already took note about it) red save point that warps you away is disappeared, which means you have to escape by feet from the dungeon and that's horrible... especially because there's a situation in which you can trigger a deadlock and so you're forced to reset the game(at least there's not the risk of ruining the save forever) PS. in the last part of the cave i start to blabbling nonsenses XD RE: FF6 ROTDS first time run playthrough - Tenkarider - 11-01-2015 part 81: the best gentlemen tank [spoiler][/spoiler] And so Serin revealed to be a good tank... For a second i thought that Dirt Dragon would lock his AI due to auto-haste, luckily it didn't happen I know that after Dirt Dragon dies as soon as you exit from Opera House a bug is triggered and skrews the tiles of a line/column of the world map, but it doesn't happen here... part 82: Arena time! (PS. lately youtube provides me horrible images as screenshots to use for the video) [spoiler][/spoiler] I noticed that when you talk to KlaTu there are 2 different dialogues possible, when you talk him... the one about Kraid appearently appears when i talk him while he's moving(not always) to me looks like a bug... is that somehow planned from you? O_o How colosseum AI works anyway? theorically they should act with Control commands but i saw someone taking turn twice or something... part 83: The dragon hunt continues [spoiler][/spoiler] Nothing to say? strange... Teleporting away from the dungeon doesn't seem to have any bad consequences as far as I know. (say you go both for Gilgamesh and Red Dragon, there are good chances that you'll move out from that room before you attempt teleport) ---------------- part 87: Intense battles under a stormy sky [spoiler][/spoiler] Why a bridge as battle background in the top area of Fanatics Tower? It's a shame that divine gift wasn't available for Tifa, THAT would be really something, still she would become beyond the overpowerness. part 88: To Shenron castle!! [spoiler][/spoiler] the fight against JCE3000GT was cool anyway ![]() the whole part of the esperworld is a great idea, finally something that's really close to be a completely new area, compared to vanilla areas. Layer 2 is transparent in some area... but i believe it's written in ROTDS 1.4 changelog that you fixed it. PS. nice for the song against Golgotha of Neclord(Suikoden 2) ![]() part 89: too much statuses to guard!! [spoiler][/spoiler] I hated Golgotha very much... well, it's easy to notice that in Twitch's chatbox XD for a moment i thought death protection were ignored, then i realized i used Zombie protection instead... worth of a facepalm. In the very end the solution against those type of bosses is not care too much about statuses, protect the most annoying ones and just rush them. PS. about Gamma Sword, i thought it was quite the sword according to some thread around, but it doesn't look very special to me... am i missing something? Still i'm feeling quite strange about Shenron's fight, i mean... he was there to grant hope to people in Esper town, then you go there and kill him without a true reason: here i feel like the heroes acted as villains... part 91: It's time to pay a visit to Zuriel! [spoiler][/spoiler] Yeah, i was quite sure it was Zeemis's Omega Mk4 AI script, anyway... starting from 26:08, after Omega Mk4 does that Blaster, you can witness a wtf bug and until the end of battle shit happens(even Lockirby2 was there and saw that happen) you should really look that point and check what to do to fix that. part 92: Zuriel Tower Part 1 [spoiler][/spoiler] Oh, crap the video is cut during a fight(damn you, Twitch!!!) that sucks for watchers, especially because the next segment is not among the 3 posted now, sorry for the inconvenience. [spoiler][/spoiler] Here's a big shit for you, Gi Nattak: About Doomkaiser... that won't die unless you kill his MP bar and at the same time you can morph it into a Quicksilver using Ragnarok... result? endless farm of Quicksilvers if you give Ragnarok to Eiko!!! (you can watch me do that in the last part, then i reset) Something tells me that it's not intentional, or Quicksiver would never been limited to ~10 units in the whole game. part 95: Zuriel Tower Part 4 [spoiler][/spoiler] What a wonderful way to waste a long segment: beating my head againt Majin buu with the weakest group... the worst idea ever. |
