So i've started making a series of videos with commentary on mike's
hack ff6 return of the dark sorcerer.. and instead of flooding the shout box all the goddamn time... I thought id make a thread for it.
In these videos I will be going over my own creative process, talking about monster sprites, character sprites, background shit etc and also trying to shed some light on the various processes and methods of how the hack was made. Also talking about various other developmental aspects of rotds from things that I got told to stuff I found out.

i also made a thread, but since i use twich to stream and i can't stream regularly, unless you randomly check my channel you'll never know when i'll stream.
Anyway it's almost finished, so you won't have to see that much other times.
i wasn't actually attacking you there buddy lol i meant me flooding the shout box.. this isnt really a playthrough its more of a talk through explaining sprites ideas and how the hack was made

EDIT: @James It's neat to see things from your perspective. I wouldn't have noticed that the Guards had the same legs if you hadn't told me. Those floating eyeball enemies are pretty gross. :O I don't mean that in a bad way though, gross fits it there.
I gotta admit though, I cringed a little seeing you throw away five Pizzas and a Lemonade uneccessarily during the first video.

Thanks there golbez, the hack has been in development for the past 5 years, the sprites themselves or rather things i have added to this version and 1.3.. id say over the past year really, the portraits took about a day each so about 2 weeks give or take depending on time constraints, i spent a good 2-3 months on background stuff due to the complexity of making such changes, the monsters is about 4-5months on and off and i spent a good 4 weeks odd on character sprites and misc sprites, even tho most of the character sprites you will find have been done by poco loco and various other artists, i did a fair few as well (the readme for the game has the exact sprites) and the espers although similar to monsters took a good month also. I should mention the mod is gi nattaks with alot of help from madisur, lockirby pocoloco ,angelo and jackimus and although i did some work for 1.1 version i only really kicked into overdrive on this for 1.3 upwards with ports, sprites, backgrounds ect.
