You'll end up with a japanese UI if you buy a RetroFreak. The system is able to play more cartridge formats and you can use USB controllers (like PS3) or original controllers. There's also a custom button mapping option. You can't play NES games however. You can patch a game (or maybe install ROMs ?) like the Retron5.
You'll pay about 30$ more for a RetronFreak (package with all optional stuff) and the shipping from Japan.
I would be more tempted to buy a RetroFreak I think, the only disadvantages I can see is no NES support and japanese UI.
However if you strictly want to play SNES games/hack, a SNES PowerPak with a real SNES is also a neat option.

Well if japanese UI means that i can't understand the interface, unless i know japanese, then i can't have much use of it...
I also know that among stuff you can play there's something about PC... what is it exactly?

PC Engine = Japanese TurboGrafx-16
Also, the RetroFreak will only be available this october (in Japan).
