GHello,
I'm just curious to know if there are other Gimp users besides me so I start this poll to ask which image editor you use for your pixelart and other graphic art.
On my side, I'm a Gimp user since 2006. So, I started with version 2.2 and I now use 2.8. I wrote tutorials related to Gimp but most of them are in French.
I'm not exactly an image editing wizard, and I mostly just stick with MS Paint because it's always easily accessible. I used Paint.net a couple times as well when I had to do something trickier.

I use gimp for everything graphics related but I'm not a spriter. The most "awesome" I got with gimp was making my editor logo:
I would like to see your tutorials since I can read french...
NeoPaint and the built-in image editor in GameMaker: Studio.
I guess I'm alone in using Photoshop? I started using it back in 1999 or 2000, version 5.5 I believe, and now I've settled on CS3.

Nope, I do Photoshop as well. As for version, I have settled with Version CS5.

Ahh, I would like to try the new versions, but I doubt they would add any new features that I would actually use, and they would probably move some options/menus and change some things around that would just confuse me at first.
The real reason I stick with CS3 though is because I found a lite version that is only 42MB, but still installs everything I need with no bloat. Nothing beats that convenience
