This thread is dedicated to song data submission as well as general question, if any. To make a submission, you must provide in a zipped file the following:
- A SPC file of your song named with the official song name (ex: "the_prelude.spc")
- A binary file (.bin) of your song data named by the song name + "_data" (ex: "the_prelude_data.bin")
- A binary file (.bin) of your song instruments (0x20 bytes) named by the song name + "_inst" (ex: "the_prelude_inst.bin")
Please include in your request the original song name and game where it was taken from. One or many admin(s) will first review your song first to see if it fits quality requirements.
If you want to contribute, you can try composing a song from scratch or use the MML technique:

Does this mean I can't keep my personal thread

You can keep your thread but if you want your songs to be hosted on the forum, you have to make a submission. This is sort of a database. No song IPS patch will be accepted in the patch section either.

Won't be accepted unless posted in submissions you mean? or period? And Ok, so I can still do my thread and post my songs and patches there, but if I want my song on the music player I need to put it in the submissions thread yes?

This has nothing to do with the music player. Instead of creating patches that replace songs, we host the song data and instrument in this sub-forum. Then the user can put the song wherever he wants.
Next time just leave the original name of the song and put a .bin extension to your data files. Aside of that the rest was good.

All of them. You named them after the FF6 song they were replacing.

Ah. The way your initial post read, I thought you meant official as in the song it's for. My apologize for misunderstanding
EDIT: Here's another I just got done with xD
Doesn't replace anything (nothing was requested to replace)
