Nicely done but it's with video like these that you see that Quick breaks the game. That being said, it doesn't lower your credit by using it. You gotta use the best tactic to get the best time.
Yeah, Quick is too cheap
. This is one of the only times I've actually used it for anything, though in a speedrun I don't really feel any remorse about it. I doubt that I'll be able to keep up that pace in the Quickless category, but I hope to get close
.
I used the fact that Jump/DragoonBoots has a very low waiting time to my advantage during the battle. If you time it right (with enough speed for your characters), you can use this and evade most hits. That is, until the dragon shifts to some of the more deadly scripts.
I've now defeated Emperor Dragon with the solo restriction:

The video may not be processed for a few minutes if you get to this post right away. I've now defeated him in every category as fast as I can manage, within reason.
As for my hack, don't worry, I've been working on it quite a bit, keeping a steady pace going. It's time-consuming, but I'm still working on it!
How come Lord Envoy said on YouTube that none of your three videos qualify for the challenge? What happened?
He thought that I cheated to remove the counterattacks. What actually happened is that I just made sure to kill a "life" with every attack, so he couldn't counterattack. I've already cleared it up with him, so he'll put me on the board soon.
It was a clear mistake on my end. I was under the impression that he attempted the Dragon with its recent patch: Emperor Dragon 1.02. In that version the dragon will counterattack even while under the "Quick" spell effect. When I reviewed his video, it appeared as it's counter attacks were bugged by the spell "Quick" or they were completely removed. What really happened was that Lockirby2 was actually attempting an older version of my Emperor. Since I haven't specified about the new patch, I decided not to discredit his attempt.
