The bar method is good for doing things quickly when you're implementing a large number of sprites, but the transparent-quick-replace method you have in your video is good for changing one or two sprites' palettes quickly. Thanks for making the video, that should help a lot of people.

yes you can, it requires hex editing and assigning characters to different palettes

"Sometimes ninjas do wrong to each other, and in dat way the force of tha earf' comes around da moon - and at that presence, da dirt, it overshadows the grass, so you're like, I can't cut dis grass, there's no sun comin' through. So in order to enable each other the two fruits have to look each other in da eye and understand we can only be right, as da ripe is wrong, you know what I mean?"

is the bar trick good for changing multiple characters?

I do want to swap some of the character but the palette ruins the look, I even tried editing all the mistakes made by the palette but it just frustrates me to no end

is there anyway to avoid that shift in colors?

make sure that the colors are in the correct order but other then that u might need 2 hex edit the other chars

you mean work on the hex of the character <_<, that is where I am a total noob, hex editing, I know a few things of the hex encoding, but Ill need some more help
randon question, is there a way to expand the ammount of pallete in the final fantasy 6 coding? that way each character has their own pallete?
