Ever play Final Fantasy VI and think "fun game, but not enough ponies" ? So did I.

What does Filly Fantasy VI offer?
  • A new MLP-inspired story adapting the War of the Magi and the Espers to the G4 canon in a story involving King Sombra, Discord, the Crystal Ponies, and numerous characters from the show. Play as the Mane Six, Celestia, Luna, Cadance, and more, as you fight enemies such as Gilda, Trixie, the Tantabus, the Diamond Dogs, Tirek, Queen Chrysalis, and of course, King Sombra and his army of brainwashed Magitek soldiers. Longtime fans of the MLP franchise may also recognize a few more familiar faces among the supporting cast.
  • Nerfed party members, buffed enemies, and new AI scripts and skill distributions will make gameplay familiar, but more difficult for FF6 veterans.
  • Rebalanced party members. Umaro is fully controllable and equippable as Maud, Mog and Gau feature non-berserking Dances and Rages as Pinkie and Scootaloo, and Edgar is able to learn natural magic as Princess Celestia.
  • A new gameplay system incorporating the different pony types. Earth ponies pummel enemies with raw strength, unicorns wield powerful magic, and pegasi can evade attacks and strike from the skies. Each type of pony can use different equipment that cater to these strengths. More than ever, a properly balanced party is critical to success.
  • Numerous new spells bring Wind, Water, and Earth-elemental abilities to the common spell list. Learn spells from equipment to master new abilities faster than before.
  • Test your mettle against three new bonus bosses in the World of Ruin. The Eight Dragons have also gotten a power increase to be stronger than ever.

- Rainbow Dash is now able to equip Adamant Sword.

- Pinkie's initial shield changed to Thick Splint
- Changed Blueblood's dialogue when meeting for first time
- Flame, Water, and Bolt Edges buffed from 60 power to 80 (vanilla is 100)
- Comet buffed from 80 power to 90, MP changed from 48 to 40
- Stone description changed to read Confuse instead of Muddle
- Heat Laser animation changed (explosion should now be proper coloration)

November 22 2016
- Stamina Ring no longer gives Protect and Shell
- Earthen Ring gives HP +25% instead of 50%
- Minor typo fixed in Zecora's dialogue.

November 27 2016
- Pegasus Ring teaches Gust instead of Scour

- Fixed a minor typo in Squizard's dialogue
- Snips, Snails, and Flash, use the proper palette as Imperial Soldiers
- Angel no longer barks in Sweetie Belle's nightmare

January 19 2017
- Dialogue changes to Sombra at the imperial banquet and when recruiting Applejack to use non-specific dialogue.
- Some enemy colors fixed.
- Queen Bumble now uses Gust instead of Scour

January 29 2017
- Wind Rod no longer randomly casts Scour
- All Eight Wraths now have Auto-Regen, Protect, Shell, and Haste. Two-phase battles are eliminated; they use the same attack script throughout the fight. All Eight Wraths save Grogar have been given new attacks and slightly higher HP.
- The Founders now have Auto-Regen, Protect, Shell, and Haste, and have two lives.
- Discord's final battle has three lives.

just a question: are you considering in future of replacing ALL the monster sprites with pony or custom stuff?
i'm telling that because, after seeing all those ponies, seeing suddenly a vanilla monster in the final trailer felt like a punch in the eye, on a first glance...

Another update - the Ursa Minor battle actually wasn't fixed.

Update to fix errors with Diamond Dog palettes in Ponyville and Appleloosa, and some sound effect errors concerning dogs.

No sir, can't say I have lol.

I'm thinking of playing this though just from all the time that was invested into this hack. Unless I've missed it though, nowhere does it say if the patch is intended for a header or non-headered ROM, which is commonplace to add that bit of info. Oh I see it in your other thread it's for headered, but might still wanna add that in this thread since it seems to be your actual release thread.

Also, does there exist a readme and/or credits document anywhere?
