Favorite Score/Soundtrack?

What are some of your favorite instrumental scores (soundtracks)? I'm playing other games and need some great backgrounds, particularly with a theme of discovery or "wonder".

Personally I love Ascendancy and The Land Before Time:

I'd personally recommend Radiant Historia's soundtrack. If you're a fan of Shimomura, you'll find the style is recognizable, but it's still some of her best work, in my opinion. Here's the theme from the final dungeon: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wpuAPMs0FQs

I take interest a great sum in Romancing Saga 3's soundtrack.

My favourite soundtrack is FF9, but I somehow suspect this doesn't provide you with any useful info.

Legend of Mana comes to mind right away as one of my favorites. I have tons of favorites though so it's hard to choose one to represent, but this one is a more obscure selection considering that not many people have played the game, and it (the soundtrack) makes me feel really nostalgic and emotional:

Old topic but still wanted to resurrect. My top 50 sound tracks sorted alphabetically. If I had to choose the best it would easily be Final Fantasy IV followed by probably Seiken Densetsu 2 (Secret of Mana). But honestly I had to increase my list to top 50 because it is so damn hard to choose just a few! I ripped this list from my own forum poll topic.
