How Many Physical Copies of FF6 have YOU owned in your life-time? And to make it more fun, how and when did you achieve them?
Re-releases count! (GBA, Phone, PSX, etc.)

I had the game back on SNES, and since my dad bought every FF game he could, he also bought Final Fantasy Anthology for PSX. When it came out, you bet your ass I grabbed FF6 Advance.

Got one for my..12? Birthday, sold it like a traitor, realized what I did at about 14 and bought it again from Funcoland (did the same exact thing with FFT...) traded it to my friend at about 16 because I owed him moneys, picked up the FF Anthology for PSX soon after which I have still sitting on my game shelf!

My parents got my first copy before I was even born. Technically speaking one might say it's still theirs, but I still consider myself to share ownership of it. However, the save battery was dying, so I got myself the Advance version once I had a DS way later in life. I also got the PSX version for a birthday at some point, not because I really needed it for any reason, but just because it came bundled with FF5. I've never even touched that last copy. Laugh

SNES, Toys'R'Us for... what $40-$50 back then new?
Then of course Anthology, still have both origial. Pretty sure I still have the box for the SNES somewhere too.

Anything beyond that was all emulators. Think I payed for the phone version, but found out that an update to the phone 2 weeks before made it incompatable so I never got to install or play it.

Big bro bought PSX version god only knows how many years ago...
Fun fact: when i played it on PSX i did almost nothing, shadow died, missed a lot of WoR secret stuff and Merely finished the game, i even forgot of how much awesome were the movie cutscenes unlocked beating the game and all extra contents(the only good feature of PSX version)
i liked the game, but it wasn't even in my top 3 of ff games back to that time...

Then i played FF6 advance and it became my favourite FF game

I thought some things were weird too my 1st playthrough, like I tried forever to see Shadow's 5th dream, and reading online how you could ressurect Leo by fighting 4000 Brachiasores in the dino forest, which I got up to I think 1000 and realized I couldn't do any more dino battles ever again. And yeah Shadow left and I thought that was how it was supposed to be, and wondered why he would leave during a random battle. I'm sure there's more...
