Yeah, honestly i think that the only thing that can obstacle your randomizer from being popular is the fact it's not accessible to everyone to apply it to a rom.

Still i didn't have tested the windows exe application yet...

Updated again, to version 27.
  • Final Boss no longer starts with 0 HP.
  • Greatly increased the rarity of rages that have instant death specials.
  • New easter eggs.
If you started a game on version 26... if you use the same seed then the romfile generated by version 27 should be mostly the same, aside from fixing the final boss.

The project is currently in "feature freeze", which means I have no plans to add any new features at this time. I will fix bugs and egregious balance issues as I am made aware of them, however. This is as close to an official release version as this project will ever have.

Some day I might decide to consider new features, but I won't do that unless I get a significant amount of feedback, so that I can better gauge the player experience. That won't be for months, at least.

So... i have an idea: you randomized a lot of stuff, but i never read any post in which you said you'd had randomize the colors of spells animation... how 'bout that?

Another thing, my bro said that if you randomize Kefka's Tower, then you won't fight Inferno boss... any way to fix that?

Regarding the tower, as it is currently, I made it in such a way that one party must pass through Inferno's room to complete the tower. Of course, there are no guarantees as to which party or from which side they will enter. Also note that I did not fix the glitch in the original game that could be used to skip Inferno. Apart from that glitch, if you find a seed where none of the three parties encounter Inferno, I'd be very interested to know what it is.

As for randomizing colors of spells... I didn't do it, but I'm not opposed to it and it wouldn't be too difficult. The reason I haven't done it is because there are a limited number of palettes which are shared between spell and weapon animations, and I wasn't sure that it would be appealing to players for their Flame Sabre to be purple and create green fire. Since you were anticipating this feature for a long time, I'd be willing to break my feature freeze and include it in version 28 (which will also have some minor bugfixes).

Yay! Kungfu! i really cannot find anything bad in weird colors for flames and stuff(actually it should be even cooler), if someone doesn't like things like this, then why should he play to a omni-randomizer, in the first place?

BTW, actually i misunderstood what my bro said: he actually mentioned that he saw your video in which you shown the randomized Kefka's tower that when you pass from Inferno's room he's not there... did you already beat him, before the video?

Yeah, I already defeated all of the bosses in the tower in the save file that I used, so that I could explore the tower freely.

So... did you played it at the really end, Satoascorpion?

Asking to Abyss he said that the randomizer is basically finished.
So who wanted to try it, then it should start to do that.
Just the time that i finish to post the last 3 videos of my BNW first time run and so i'll start a randomizer run Kungfu! (actually it should be passed a month since i finished BNW and the final parts are in my channel, but i still have to comment them...)

Meanwhile i can talk about the latest gameplay of my li'l bro, who really enjoyed the randomizer! it was more balanced than the last time... with balanced i mean an high balanced difficulty... LLG is not very user friendly, or you'll end up doing the whole game with savestates(except during battles), like my bro Laugh
After all there's no hurry and it's way more better to explore and watch all formations of the game(especially for drops, steals and morphs)
Besides he lost a bunch of hidden bosses through the dungeons and world maps, which can give amazing stuff! i remember he met as rare battle in Kefka's Tower a dummied formation: 5 x Ice Dragons Surprised
That guy was able to drop Paladin Shields or Offerings... i don't remember.

Said that, i can really suggest you to play this randomizer!
