Favorite Ultima

In your opinion, which version of Ultima was your favorite and why?

Final Fantasy VI's because of its animation, it fills up the screen gradually and then the screen flashes killing the enemies on impact.

It was a close call between FFVI and FFVII but I voted for the second one. I really like the sound of the spell. FFVI ultima is more powerful though.

It was a close pick between 6 and 7, however I find 6's to be much more satisfying. The low hum generally associated with incredible energy, the expanding shockwave, the fact that it's TEARING APART THE FLOOR AND THROWING IT INTO THE SKY. To me, the sheer visual power of the spell has -NEVER- been replicated in a Final Fantasy since, and this spell is just amazing.

I chose IX's for four reasons:

1.) It blows up and gathers into the sky to plummet down great swords and blasts of energy throughout the entire screen (in other words, it looks cool)
2.) My favorite antagonist uses it.
3.) It is an unbeatable spell that completely destroys your party (and SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!kills them too!!END OF SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!!!).
4.) It destroys a world during the course of the game.

Definatley VIII's just cause it was the first ultima spell i saw. And finding draw point even up to mid way through the third disc was tricky. It also gave some killer stats when junctioned to attack or magic

10 because it teleport the enemy in a different zone, then circle close on the enemy, and then it explodes in a bright explotion. That and its powerful.

FF8. The most epic Ultima I've ever seen. It's like FF6's Ultima, only cooler looking.

I really love the sound and look of the Ultima in VII. It was a hard choice though since VI is also quite good.

FF13.
It nearly kills off you're entire party because of random damge plus its non elemental and ignores damage like Orphans special that even with a Max Crystarium it still has a chance of killing you.

But FF6 for best looking.(easiest spamming)
