That one is indeed unused. I just recently changed that one actually to something else for her to say right after recruiting her from Zozo, which is what they must have intended to do at first and neglected to, I'd have to imagine, instead of an unused duplicate.

I think Lenophis and I both had the exact same thought as to what the note was, independently, so it sort of became an inside joke.

I believe captions #31 ("Please enter a name." and #362 ("Now which way?" "Left" "Right") may be unused.
The first seems like it'd be used when naming a character, and a text like it is indeed shown on the naming screen. However, that text is fixed width, and hardcoded in the menu bank (C3). It's not field dialogue.
The second one seems like it would be part of the Lete River sequence, however, there's no Left/Right choice as far as I know. There's only the "Straight"/"Left"/"Right" junction and the "Up"/"Left" junction ("Up" leading back to the same junction in a loop).

Could've been used after the crane battle I'd imagine, but probably was a little redundant after saying "I won't forget this!" after that desert battle, and would break the flow having to go back to show Kefka say that. Also, drat it all sounds dumb... Just say it a few times and see for yourself lol.
