This randomizer can be extremely painful.
Not getting heal force in the beginning of the magiteck part is extremely common by the way. Smile
You're more likely to run into blaster being in your list.

And whelk, as powerful as he can get, is still going to die extremely easily as long as you don't annoy his shell. Smile

Also, for those interested, I'm going to be streaming tonight, at about 7 PM EST.
https://www.twitch.tv/davidb1000/ Hopefully that works.

Going to be a new seed, no TXT file help, so that's going to be fun. Tongue
But I think my friends will keep me calm during silly stuff.

Okay then, the stream was fun. Tenka showed up about halfway through or so.

https://www.twitch.tv/davidb1000/v/75926386 This is probably the higihligiht of the entire stream. 40+ minutes of dealing with TunnelArmor. Well, it felt like 40 thousand hours to be fair. Tongue

Your randomizer is so drunk at times, Abyss. Like, way too drunk.

Well, in the very end when randomization sucks, all you need to do is grind... not the best for watchers, but if it's necessary then you have to accept that.

True. And you have a good point.
But I can still point out when the randomzier gets silly. Smile

Eh, TunnelArmr has fairly low HP. Unless your character has bad Magic, you should be able to get pretty close to one-shotting him with a Desperation Attack.

RE: Official FF6: Beyond Chaos thread (randomizer) - Tenkarider - 07-04-2016

Yup, that was what i was suggesting during the stream:
While he was on Lete river i noticed that there was a monster which was in auto-reflect and since Locke had Rage as command
i suggested to use that rage to counter TunnelArmr spells spam... since it wasn't still enough i suggested to stay with that rage on and wait 'till Mirager was
triggered(in worst of the cases, abusing savestates would made the job)
In the end he grinded something like 2 levels 'till Sky was strong enough to shot the Boss in 2 hits.
(Locke also knew SwdTech)

Been putting in some random seeds and seeing what kind of results I get, and I can't seem to get any of my party members to swap sprites to any character outside the main 14. Any tips on getting my seed to generate a Leo, Kefka, Merchant, or Soldier sprite? Statistically I feel like I should have been able to generate one by now.

It's one of the special flags you have to set, put in "partyparty" when setting flags and it should start using the NPC sprites for party members as well.

Sure, but I wasn't going to stream for seven hours waiting for the desperation attack. Smile
Seriously, it's not like was ever going to happen to me. I have terrible luck in games, and when it rains it pours out oceans. Smile

I was mostly trying to get enough health by grinding so I could survive long enough to use Retort twice.
That is what killed him finally.

He would not have been as hard as he was if he didn't somehow have a physical attack that did not trigger Retort 95% of the time. Tongue
He had two physical attacks that would work, a special attack, and a normal. The special attack triggered Retort just about 100%.

And Celes was the Beserker, so she could have won if his magic power levels weren't much higher than in vanilla.
You don't get one shot by his attacks in the base game with 250 HP, unless you removed all your armor. Tongue

Also, I'm going to be streaming again tonight, baring the Apocalypse, so you can come hang out and mock me for having a ribbon that can't be used by anyone. Tongue

Since I know you don't like Ribbons, that's a good bit of irony.
I think peace rings and White Capes aren't going to be a problem, despite their cost.

Same hour of the last time? i'll try to be there

You're always welcome! And yeah, 7PM tonight. Hopefully it will all work.
