Forum upgrade - madsiur - 09-18-2014
We will upgrade from MyBB 1.6.8 to version 1.8.0 on Saturday, September 27 at 9:00 AM EST. The forum will be closed during that time, hopefully only for a few hours.
This is a major forum upgrade. Version 1.8.0 has been in development for the last 2 years, you can view the new feature and enhancements here: http://blog.mybb.com/2014/09/01/mybb-1-8-released/
Some plugins might not work with this new version but we'll make sure external plugins such as the shoutbox are compatible with it.

The download is for a forum engine. If you download it, you can start your own forum on the internet. I don't understand what you don't understand lol!
Edit: No, you don't need to download anything. The job is on our side to do. You just need your internet connection.
