Going by this list, what is your favorite sword?
I have excluded the Ultima Sword because it is often the best sword in the game, and thus most of you would choose it over the others.

Lightbringer by, well, lightyears.
Coolest named weapon in any ff game. I prefer Illumina though but Both sound amazing.
Also, I have to complain about the gunblade missing (Lionheart *_*) which would take a strong second spot for me.

Personally, I think Brave Blade has the best potential to be the strongest of the swords. :p

I'm generally a fan of the Save the Queen. The defence boosts it usually grants are usually great, and it gets bonus points for being the weapon of choice of Beatrix in FFIX, a personal favourite character of mine.
