Zeemis: In my honest opinion, I believe this more resembles the job class "Magus" from FFIII rather than a black mage.

I very much so like this sprite, I don't believe I've seen a "Magus" in any of the other games prior to FFIII (maybe my memory is just jogged...). I find it to have a lot of detail. Even the tent has more detail than normal... o_O
I give this a 10 out of 10!

I really like this one, but the thing is, the colors don't seem like Warlock/Magus in the original, so, have to deduct points there. I would have forgiven it, though, if there was a "left-foot forward" walking animation. It's got right, but no left!

there is actually a more updated version of this in Metroid Quest's hack, the colors are correct and the animation is perfected

This is my first Black Mage sprite. It IS actually based on the FF5 Bartz Black Mage. In the latest version of Eternal Crystals, I swapped colors around so that his robe is the traditional blue.
