There's a group on youtube that has disassembly banks for Secret of Mana, but they haven't released them yet.

I remember the channel thanks to Nattak :p

I do keep in touch with them ever so rarely. (there's only 2 people involved)
To quote:

3/14/11

Me: "how're you guys coming along with releasing those doc's?"

Naj: "There are only two of us working on it, and right now I'm still in the middle of the events. I've scripted ~600 out of 2500 so far, and even though roughly half are dummied out it's still quite the challenge Smile I might release Bank A when I'm done with it"

They also kindly showed me a preview of part of the pointer table of the A bank. =o

There's this editor that I have followed and it has been in the works for so damn long now,
and it appears as though it's dead again. =(

It's looking nice, I did some searches today on Google for SoM offsets and found none so I decided to make this. I love the prospect of having a universal editor for this game. Smile

really sweet, zeemis. Smile

I hate people who hold out information when it could help the community. I regret doing this with FF4 and MQ.

SD2/SOM needs to be documented publically.

RE: Secret of Mana Graphical Offsets - Zeemis - 06-05-2011

I agree completely, thats partially why I started this website. Tongue
I felt some of the guys who're working on Pandora's Box should have made tutorials on how they did a lot of the complex stuff. They'll of course answer your question if you ask them, begrudgingly however. One person in particular comes to mind when you ask an intelligent question to them and he or she will belittle you because it's an obvious answer to them.

I started this site in hope to share my knowledge and have a place to put my resources. I'm happy to see that the community has grown so much within the years it's been up and running. Some of the stuff I've done hasn't been put into a tutorial form yet, but the entire forum could be seen as a tutorial. If you have a question, theres that slight chance that I have gone over it or someone else has.

i agree with you, jce, the only som mods i've seen are the hardtype hack, and a color improvement. Wink

edit: i agree with you, zeemis. Wink

RE: Secret of Mana Graphical Offsets - Enker - 09-28-2011

Alright, I need to start paying attention to this, then. This is one of the two from the NadjIndustries channel. I made my way on over here as, checking out TheNattak's channel, I noticed the link to this site on there. I'm not too good with forums, mind you, but maybe I can try and be a bit more with it from now on Hit (also, the x'd out eyes show up as Tellah, eh?)

I must admit, I'm not sure what exactly to do re: releasing banks, or for that matter potentially asking for help. I really should figure out something for a website they can be organized on -_-

It's great to have you here! I'm glad to hear NajIndustries is still very much alive and kickin'. Wink
